About Us

In 1895 three Victorian philanthropists, worried about the impact of uncontrolled development and industrialisation, set up the National Trust. Now, more than a century later, the Trust cares for 250,000 hectares of countryside in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, as well as 709 miles of coastline and more than 350 buildings and gardens of outstanding importance and interest - for the benefit of everyone.

National Trust Prints has a wide range of fascinating and beautiful images covering the properties and landscapes cared for by the National Trust. Our inspirational images have been created to capture the spirit of each place. We have a huge range of subjects including landscape, coastline, gardens, interiors, architecture and many unique works of art by some of the world’s best known artists.

The National Trust is a charity and is completely independent of Government. We rely for income on membership fees, donations and legacies, and revenue raised through commercial operations.

Please note that prints sold through this website are for personal use only. If you wish to use an image commercially please email photo.library@nationaltrust.org.uk
