One of a set of twelve dessert plates from the Kedleston dinner service made by William Cripps, London, 1758. Silver-gilt, each plate 24.5 cm diameter. Re-acquired at auction in 2008, partly funded with a grant from independent charity The Art Fund and from the MLA/V&A Purchase Grant Fund.
