The sixteenth-century Abbot Marmaduke Huby's tower above the west end of the nave at Fountains Abbey, North Yorkshire. The Abbey and estate was founded in 1132 by Cistercian monks, and survived for 400 years before the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1539.
