The Sitting Room at Hinton Ampner, Hampshire. The marble fireplace is from Robert Adam's demolished Adelphi Terrace, the Wilton carpet is c.1860. The interiors at Hinton Ampner were largely destroyed by a fire in 1960, but were rebuilt in a neo-Georgian style. Many of the contents were saved including the George III desk here.
