The Rococo chimneypiece and overmantel dating from c.1760 with painting in the Dining Room at Hanbury Hall. The carving, in softwood, part grained and part gilded, is reminiscent of the work of London carver Thomas Johnson, but is probably the work of a talented local using designs from Johnson's pattern books.
