The Great Parlour at Baddesley Clinton, West Midlands. This is an early seventeenth century room, created by Edward Ferrers in 1633 with a large mullioned and transomed window, a barrel ceiling and wooden panelling. The portrait over the fireplace is MARGARET ROPER (1505-44), the daughter of Sir Thomas More. The reed matting covering the floor is a modern copy of a seventeenth-century floor covering.
