The Dining Room at Castle Drogo, Devon. This long, low room has a heavily decorated plaster ceiling installed by Crockers of Plymouth. The walls are panelled in mahogany, with a frieze of plain granite between Corinthian pilasters. The dining table is laid with a cloth and china, the candlesticks are electric.
